Empyreal Galaxy

Empyreal Galaxy is focused on conceptualising, designing and manufacturing of Lighter-Than-Air aircrafts, which has the potential to become one of the safest mode of transport in the world. We strongly believe that technology and innovation should be backed with a strong purpose to create positive difference in the lives of people.

As conceptualisers, designers and manufacturers of Lighter-Than-Air aircraft, our main objective is to facilitate development of cost-effective, efficient and environment-friendly mode of connecting geographies which are difficult to reach and remain isolated from help, especially during the event of natural calamities and disasters

Plimp Airships LLC

Plimp Airships LLC (aka Egan Airships) has developed a novel approach to hybrid airship which has rotational wings for VTOL and has forward speeds substantially faster than a traditional blimp.  This expert design by renowned engineer Dr. Daniel Raymer is now within Plimp Airship's global intellectual property and has fantastic promise for changing the world of high speed, slow descent passenger and payload transport, as well as stable platform filming and high visibility advertising.  The design is now available in a drone which is 30 feet (or about 9m) long and satisfies FAA 107 rules about being under 55lbs (25 kg).  If you are someone you know are interested in this head-turning, high value product, please contact CEO James Egan at 206-795-3292 or james@plimpairships.com for more information.

Galaxy Unmanned Systems LLC

Unmanned Systems L.L.C specialize in UAS Manufacturing, R&D, ASTB, Flight Services, Aerial Imagery, and Government Contracting. Their experience has enabled them to offer a full range of possible support, design, simulation, prototyping, manufacturing, operations, pilot training, technical documentation, and certification. GUS LLC principals are experienced industry professionals who have pioneered technology innovations for commercial UAS applications as well as various successful DoD programs. The principals have a cumulative 40-plus years of practical industry experience with different airborne configurations including VTOL, fixed wing, rotary wing, and lighter than air (LTA) RPAs, RPVs, UAVs, sUAS/UAS.

FLYING WHALES

FLYING WHALES is a French company headquartered in France. Created in 2012, the company is developing an ambitious and unique program thanks to its innovations and the quality of its teams and industrial consortium: the LCA60T, a rigid airship for heavy load transport with a carrying capacity of 60 tons.

Our Associates

The Airship Association

The Airship Association based in England was formed in 1971 to promote the use of powered, steerable, Lighter-than-Air Vehicles. Some objectives of the Airship Association are to promote the science, practice and consideration of all matters relating to airships, to circulate information on all matters affecting airships, to publish books and papers connected with airships, and to promote research and experimental work on airships.

IMIEU U-LTA

IMIEU is an independent non-profit organization with locations in Brussels and Amsterdam, and wants to prove that development of infrastructure can go hand-in-hand with environmental protection and environmental improvements. IMIEU has two important main activities:

- Initiating and developing European projects, focused on demonstrating that economical development can go hand-in-hand with improving the environment.

- Giving environmental advice for marine infrastructure projects.

They are currently working on a sustainable aviation project called 'Upscaling Lighter Than Air Technology'.

The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI]

The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI] is the largest multi-disciplinary professional body of engineers, established in 1920 with its Headquarters located in Kolkata and incorporated under Royal Charter on 9th September, 1935 by the then His Majesty of King George V. The Royal Charter endowed the Institution with the responsibility to promote the general advancement of engineering amongst its members and persons attached to the Institution. After Independence, the Institution is a “Body Corporate” protected under Article 372 of the Constitution of India. The Institution of Engineers (India) is administered by a National Council with the President as its Head.

IEI has been recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India and besides conducting its own research, provides Grant-in-Aid to UG/PG/ PhD students of Engineering Institutes & Universities.

The Aeronautical Society of India

The Aeronautical Society of India was founded in 1948.  It was inaugurated by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the then Prime Minister of India on 17 November 1948.  He was also the first Patron-in-Chief of the Society.  The Society Headquarters Building at 13 – B, Indraprastha Estate, New Delhi – 110 002 was also inaugurated by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru in 1963. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam guided the society as its President 1992-94.

The objective of the Society is to promote the advancement and diffusion of the knowledge of aeronautical sciences and aircraft engineering as well as elevation of the aeronautical profession. Technology continues to be one of the most significant drivers for growth in the century. In aerospace engineering, India has great opportunity to leverage technology to generate economic growth and development.
